Barb Blakley

Barb is a cat 3 who has raced with the team for 4 years. She started riding in 2007 when she got a road bike and started commuting to work in Denver - and tried to race everyone she saw. She started with triathlons and after moving to New York decided she preferred real sports, not being the best at exercising. She loves to climb and tries to find as many hilly road races as possible.

Aimee Layton

Aimee Layton was one of the original members of CityMD and is thrilled to see the team pick up some really strong racers going into our 5th season as a team. This will be Aimee's 9th year of racing and although she has some big changes coming this year with the birth of her second child, is excited to support the team following up on our second league win. Aimee has also had her own accomplishments in her racing career with over 25 podium finishes. However, Aimee isn't just accomplished on the bike, she also has a PhD in Kinesiology and is a scientist and faculty member of Columbia University's Dept. of Medicine Div. of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care

Liz Marcello

Liz started racing in the collegiate circuit while working on a masters at Columbia University where she discovered a love for suffering with/for friends, especially in team time trials. More than Liz loves the adrenaline of bike racing, she loves just being on her bike. When Liz is not doing anything that has to do with bikes (which is rare), she is working towards a PhD in urban planning (which sometimes has to do with bikes) at Columbia University and moonlights as a campaign manager for a New York State good government group. It's not uncommon to find her lurking around Grant's Tomb National Memorial on the second Saturday of March with a clipboard and a bullhorn

Meghan Schloat

Meghan Schloat first joined the bike racing scene in 2011. She was born and raised in Bedford, NY and spent the majority of her competitive athletic career playing volleyball. This culminated in playing Division I volleyball for the University of Pennsylvania and serving as captain for two of those four years. It wasn’t until her mid-20’s that Meghan discovered endurance sports through one of her friends. After completing a few triathlons with the Asphalt Green Triathlon team, Meg decided it was a wise decision to stick to the bike full-time. Some of her favorite road races include Battenkill and the Gateway Cup.

Lisa Vandivort

Lisa hails from Mamaroneck, NY where she grew up riding her bike before hanging up the two wheels in favor of soccer, lacrosse, and running throughout her high school, college, and post collegiate days.  It wasn’t until recurrent injuries led her back to the bike 6 years ago, when she dabbled briefly in triathlon, before finding her niche in road racing. Lisa has been racing since 2011 and is currently a category 2 road racer who loves the thrill and excitement of speedy crits. She also races CX, working her way up from a category 4. In 2015, with the help of her CityMD teammates,  she won the CRCA Sprinters Cup and the CRCA Jim Boyd Cup, awarding the best overall female rider from a season long competition. When not racing you can find her dressing up her adorable bulldog in ridiculous outfits as a cheerleader and team mascot.
